201. Intermediate Chinese I (5) I II Course deepens students' knowledge of Chinese culture and history, as well as of the language itself. Additional emphasis on learning through the language China's place in a global context. Students will learn how to discuss China in its own frame of reference and within an emerging global context. 202. Intermediate Chinese II (5) I II Course deepens students' knowledge of Chinese culture and history, as well as of the language itself. 210. Chinese Literature in Translation (3) II An introduction to the great literature and art of China from a global perspective. The art and literature of China will be referenced to contemporaries from the other areas of the world. P, consult AIC instructor.
