The University of Arizona offers a wide variety of academic programs, many of which are among the nation’s best. Students can choose from more than 300 undergraduate and graduate degrees through 20 colleges and 12 schools on four campuses.

Campuses

UA South

UA South—the University of Arizona’s branch campus headquartered in Sierra Vista—extends the University’s educational mission to the region’s people, in multiple locations and with targeted degree programs. UA South provides affordable, accessible opportunities to earn high-quality and meaningful University of Arizona degrees in sites throughout Southern Arizona, including key border communities in Cochise and Santa Cruz Counties. We partner with community colleges to offer bachelor degrees that are of high quality, low cost, and geographically accessible. In addition to traditional degree programs in education, computer science, humanities and the social sciences, UA South offers Bachelor of Applied Science programs, Master’s programs in education, and a variety of continuing education programs designed to meet the workforce needs of regional industry.

Phoenix Biomedical

The UA College of Medicine – Phoenix is part of the Phoenix Biomedical Campus (link is external) (PBC), a city initiative bringing bioresearch and education to downtown. The State of Arizona and City of Phoenix, as well as other vital community partners, continue to be strong supporters of the college, intent on developing the Phoenix Biomedical Campus as a major biosciences hub and premier provider of medical education.

 

Distance Learning

Students in distance education programs meet face-to-face with professors, discussion leaders, and group facilitators at their specific distance location, as well as leverage the latest technologies for remote learning and online education. A strong emphasis is placed on support services for students in Distance Education, with comparable advising and academic support resources, and access to library, tutoring, counseling, and business processes via electronic systems and workflow. Distance Education programs are an extension of the UA experience, making it accessible and convenient for students in their home communities.

    The University of Arizona has established a worldwide network of micro-campuses for the international delivery of collaborative degree programs to local students on the campuses of our partner universities.

    Micro-campuses address global demand for higher education, opening doors for students unable to study in the United States, while providing a synergistic hub for other forms of internationalization including faculty collaborations in research, student intercultural learning, interdisciplinary community engagement, and more.
