Academic PoliciesCensus Date Late ChargesIn Fall and Spring semesters, beginning the 22nd academic calendar day (following the first day of the semester), students with outstanding tuition/registration balances will be assessed an additional $250.00 charge. This charge is to offset state subsidy payments the University fails to receive for unpaid students. Any student who increases units beginning the 22nd academic calendar day or any day thereafter – including a student who has already paid full-time fees – will be charged $250.00. To avoid the Census Date Late Charge, your registration must be completed and paid for by the 21st academic calendar day. You should verify your account balance each time you change your registration, by checking Student Link. This charge does not apply to Winter or Summer terms. For more information, see the Bursar's Office site. |
