The Program: The Berger Entrepreneurship Program is administered by the Karl Eller Center in the Eller College of Management. The program provides a unique curriculum that combines business course work with real world experience. This award winning year long program is designed to prepare selected students for success -- as entrepreneurs, business leaders, and champions of social awareness. Cited as a model graduate and undergraduate programs by the U.S. Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship, listed in Business Week and ranked yearly in Success Magazine's top 5% Entrepreneurship Educators, the Berger Entrepreneurship Program integrates theory and application. The program prepares students for careers as leaders in venture capital and investment banking activities, as managers of innovative corporate and social ventures and as independent entrepreneurs. Program students focus on analysis, decision-making, and business planning. The entrepreneurship program serves as an undergraduate major and is a competitive, restricted entry, senior year program. Second year MBAs can select the program as an area of concentration. Students must apply to and be accepted into the program. Participants are selected in the Spring-term prior to entry, which occurs only in the Fall term. Program students complete an integrated set of courses over the Fall and Spring terms as a group.
