Degrees, Majors, Minors, and Options: Graduate Degrees -- consult the Graduate Catalog or department office for details. The Department: The Department of Immunobiology is in the College of Medicine. The graduate program, includes thirty participating faculty from nine departments in the Colleges of Medicine, Agriculture and Life Sciences, and Science. Research areas include viral (HIV/AIDS) and bacterial pathogenesis, fungi, protozoa, and parasite systems, environmental microbiology, microbial genetics, cancer, molecular, cellular and developmental immunology. Applicants are required to submit scores on the verbal, quantitative, and analytical sections of the Graduate Record Examination. Scores in an advanced section are recommended. At least two letters of recommendation are required for both the M.S. and Ph.D. programs. For more information contact the department office listed above. |
