Undergraduate Minors
Most education degree programs require a minor in a second
teaching area. Approved teaching minors are listed below:
Majors in elementary education require an academic
concentration, chosen in consultation with an academic advisor from the Office
of Student and Career Services (621-7865). Students majoring in the
non-teaching major in special education and rehabilitation should consider a
minor chosen from the following disciplines:
Associate Teaching Majors
The College of Fine Arts, the College of Agriculture, and
the School of Health Related Professions offer programs for training teachers
in their particular disciplines in association with the College of Education.
