The college offers professional education in both business and public administration. Its purpose is to prepare students for professional positions in the public and private sectors. the faculty are both scholars and practicing professionals representing industry, government, administration, health care, education, and transportation. The college is a member of the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business, and its undergraduate and graduate curricula in business are accredited by the assembly.
