AICH 101. Beginning Chinese I (5) I II For students with no or little Chinese language training. P, consent of instructor for non-AIC students.

AICH 199. Independent Study (1-3) I II

AICH 201. Intermediate Chinese I (5) I II Course deepens students' knowledge of Chinese culture and history, as well as of the language itself. Additional emphasis on learning through the language and China's place in a global context. Students will learn how to discuss China in its own frame of reference and within an emerging global context. P, consent of instructor for non-AIC students.
